I have found your comments a useful reminder - especially about the value of breathing the light, or pranic breathing. Thank you for putting this web site together. I found your views to be really interesting and the sadhanas you gave are similar to Tibetan Tantra. I'm a massage therapist and can relate in some ways to your shamanistic relationship with your clients. I find people have to give up who they think they are in order to move through their armoring. My job is to surrender and help facilitate a "relaxed" introspective curiosity. I find most of my clients in their innermost being want to let go and to the existent that I am without agenda and have earned their trust we remove the boundaries that separate us.
It is in this atmosphere that "healing" takes place. The use of imagination as in your kundalini practice is called "skillful means" in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. They use various deities and visualizations to gently loosen our assumed personal limitations. The reason they call their sadhanas skillful means is they know that thought is always limited and even the most creative image the mind could conjure is still a limitation. But why not use imagination until one is ripe enough to accept what one already is and always has been. We are not what we "think" we are we are much much much more. You might find the Advaita teacher Sri Nisargadatta interesting, there's a book that has dialogs with his students called "I Am That." Also Gangaji a women teacher in the tradition of Sri Ramana Maharshi, has an interesting web site. You are a gifted and unique person, thank you.....

I came across your site by reading your post to Laura Goodwin's list. I found your site to be very interesting, as it combined things in my life that I have never seen combined together before.
I got into femdom fantasies and yoga during my teens, though in those days both of those things were very compartmentalized from each other.
I would practice yoga for hours everyday; asanas, pranayama, and meditation. Both yoga and femdom fantasies gave me the most powerfull sensations I have ever felt in my life.

I learned that in ancient Greece that among the upper classes a young man would seek an older man as a mentor to educate him about various things including sensuality ( in Greece these arrangements where homosexual in nature ). Looking back I realize this how I felt about and had yearnings for my yoga teacher in high school. She was interested in the things I was interested in and took me seriously. She was an attractive woman in her mid forties who was very at home in her sexuality, it emanated off of her confidently. She taught me a lot of powerful techniques and I listened to everything she said. Reading your web page makes me wonder if I had a proto mentor/dominatrix/spirtual guide/goddess-preistess relationship with her back in those days. I did have some very powerfull fantasies of combining yogic generated energies within a femdom relationship with her.

My witch friends tell me that humanity is in the process of re-embracing the feminine energy ( the goddess, intuition, emotion etc ) to bring us in balance with the masculine energies we have embraced ( concentration, focus, empiricism, logic ). What can I say... I just started on the net and have found an overwhelming amount of recklessly arranged info on infinite subjects.
My interest in BD probably is childhood related, as all life struggles are, but I came to realize this interest as a young college student. Since, reading, thinking and more reading has brought me to a point of commitment to the exploration of intimacy involved in BD relationships/interactions. Unfortunately, I have been a student most of my life and have very little time or exposure to others with a similar in interest.
Now as I explore the net I hope to reach out to more with a sincere interest in the dynamic interactions composing a BD relationship. My natural tendency is toward submission... it just melts my heart to be competently controlled and to equally serve. Appreciation from both sides. However, my daily interactions seem to be filled with less than insightful interactions in which I often give others too much credit for understanding and then find myself disappointed. In short, I am controlling, but long to be well controlled.
Sometimes I turn toward ideas of Buddhism with regard to surrender/control and find myself consciously exploring these ideas during the day. Awareness, so often lacking in daily communications, becomes the essence of appreciation of life.

Perhaps the single greatest element of life/relationships/sexuality rests on a foundation of trust. It is the trust between a D/s that penetrates intimacy in much deeper ways than traditional interactions.

I am rambling.... the bottom line.... I like what you said on your page. It struck home much more so than other professional doms seeking degrade men... a flat and destructive interaction...
